What Sets Us Apart?

We are the exclusive Central Pennsylvania Affiliate of apaws.org waste removal service, providing a custom quote portal that enables secure and hassle-free payment processing.

Monthly email invoices verify services performed, and our state-of-the-art field technician app offers real-time arrival updates and secured gate photos.

Clients can upload photos of their pets, and we utilize kennel-grade, pet safe disinfectants on our equipment. Our website features a user-friendly client portal for effortless service adjustments, and by leveraging Google Maps, our app optimizes efficiency, enabling competitive pricing. Our technicians undergo thorough vetting and as owners, we also take on technician roles.

What about tall grass and leaves?

Scoopy-Dookie-Doo is unable to provide comprehensive service in yards cluttered with heavy leaves, tall grass, rocky areas, or debris. We will make every effort to work around these conditions. However, if scooping proves too challenging, we will suspend service until the yard is properly maintained. The monthly rate will not change, as your dog will continue to use the yard.

Is your equipment sanitized?

Yes, in order to prevent the spread of infectious canine viruses, we sanitize all equipment before and after each visit with a kennel quality disinfectant.

Can I request a specific day for my service?

Yes, however in order to keep prices low, we do schedule our normal routes to serve customers in adjacent areas on the same day. If you’re located far from these regular routes, there may be a small additional charge. Just give us a call, and we’ll work around your schedule. Please note that when you do not have your yard mowed regularly, it can influence the high-quality service we provide.

How often do you clean my yard?

There are several options you can choose from. The most popular are the weekly and twice-per-week services. We also offer every other week, monthly, and 1-time cleanups.

How do you clean up?

All waste is bagged and placed in your outdoor garbage containers. All our tools and shoes are cleaned and disinfected between each yard with a Kennel quality disinfectant ensuring we don’t cross-contaminate our customers’ yards. We are 100% committed to protecting the health of the people and pets we serve.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

Absolutely not. If every business provided a high-quality service and delivered 100% customer satisfaction as we do…there would be no long-term contracts. We’ll work hard to keep you as a customer and will count on that hard work to keep your loyalty.

Can you work with my dog in the yard?

Yes, we love animals; however, if your adorable pooch is an aggressive guard dog, we’ll ask that you simply confine the pooch on your scheduled cleanup day. We meet with you and your dog prior to cleaning the 1st time. This usually helps the dog become more comfortable with our service person.

How am I billed?

All billing is pre-paid fixed upon scheduling of service. We accept all major debit/credit cards. We also utilize an app with a customer portal where you can securely provide your payment information.

Can I have a 1-time cleaning?

Of course…whether you need to get ready for a family reunion, party, or to sell your house, we can provide 1-time only cleaning. Note that the price is slightly more than regular service as there is most likely a significant amount of accumulated waste. We suggest regular weekly service to keep your yard waste free.

Can I lock my gate and you still get in my yard?

Our insurer won’t let us jump over fences to get into yards, and we wouldn’t want to. So, if you’d like to keep your yard under lock and key, please unlock it the day of your service or provide us with the location of an outside key or combination to the lock. We can also provide a combination lock that we “loan” while we are servicing your yard. If we are unable to service your yard due to having a locked gate, we will still have to charge for the service.

Are you careful not to let the dogs escape?

YES! We double and triple-check the gate on the way in and out. We know how precious your pets can be.

Is there an extra charge for searching for waste in the front yard AND backyard?

NO! we will check the entire property for waste.

Isn’t dog waste good for my lawn…I thought it was fertilizer?

Nope, dog waste is protein-based and can burn/kill vegetation, including your nicely manicured green lawn. In fact, dog waste is considered hazardous waste by many municipalities.

Is the price cheaper if I have a small dog?

The size of the dog does not impact on the price. Your price will be based on the number of your dogs that regularly use your lawn.

What do you do with the collected waste?

Collected dog waste is bagged and disposed of in your trash.

What happens with bad weather?

We operate in various weather conditions, but extreme weather is beyond our control, such as heavy rain, lightning, floods, intense heat, freezing temperatures, ice, or snow (even as little as 1 inch can hinder our ability to locate waste), may prevent us from working. If we cannot perform our services, we will resume on the next scheduled service day. The monthly rate will stay the same, as we will collect twice the amount of waste on the subsequent visit.

Do you work on holidays?

Our services are not available on all Government Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years Day.

Regular service will resume on your next scheduled service day the following week. The monthly rate will remain unchanged as we will collect twice the amount of waste on the subsequent service day. Please be aware that during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s, we strive to adjust schedules so that no customer misses service for two consecutive weeks.

What if I need to suspend/skip service days?

If your dog is absent from the yard for a week or two, or if you have another reason for us to skip your yard, we can suspend service, and you will not incur charges for those days. However, it’s important to note that if your dog continues to use the yard while service is suspended, the rates will remain unchanged, and there may be an extra fee on your next visit due to the increased accumulation of waste.

What we cannot do:

Scoopy-Dookie-Doo is committed to your complete satisfaction with our services. If you are ever dissatisfied, please inform us, and we will return either the same day or the following day to resolve the issue.

Don't worry! We've got the Scoop!
